Highly recommend staying here!! Stayed one night, staff very friendly.
Had food in the warehouse bar, it was excellent.
Room was spotless, and unusually for a hotel at night time exceptionally quiet. (We’ve all experienced the air handling units etc.. running in the middle of the night).
Actually Letterkenny itself is very quiet and peaceful at night, it had that country village silence to it.
Friendly, modern, clean, comfortable hotel, well run and centrally located in the town. The food available in-house was somewhat lacking in choice but what was available was good quality and was very competitively priced. Breakfast was quality product and choice was not a problem. The location meant that a choice of restaurants, coffee houses and food-serving pubs were a comfortable walking distance.
Rooms were quite basic but adequate and importantly, spotless.
The layout of the hotel being built on a steep hill meant a confusing floor configuration with reception being located one floor down from the underground car park. Took a bit of getting used to!!
Mc Gettigan's is grand for a night on the town. It is centrally located. Parking is on a first come, first served basis. Room was clean but very warm. Air con was useless. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Food was only average, even …
